One memory I’d like to share is the many visits we paid to Nan’s flat over the years, having a cup of tea with her and a biscuit (Joshua’s favourite bit), it always just felt like home there. I miss this alot.
So many birthdays, christmas times with the whole family, and just general afternoon tea at Nan’s. She always made you feel so welcome there. More recently Joshua used to come up with me, sometimes meeting Dad there too, or Uncle Mick popping in, and Joshua would like to put all his little fire engines and cars he brought in Nan’s poofy stool, then get them out and line them up on the windowsill, which was just the right height for him!
I still think of Nan when I have a cup of tea and still think of her being in her flat, in that chair in the corner. We have one of Nan’s little chairs now down the log cabin, the one Joshua liked to sit on, and can continue to sit there and remember her xx
Love you Nan,
Katie xx
